A banner year! Arkansas State Fair 2008 Overall results were 65 class ribbons, 37 Rosettes 5 banners and three belt buckles! Jessie had the Overall Grand Champion Percentage doe in day one open show and the junior show. Kate had the Overall Grand Champion fullblood doe in the Jr show and several class and over all grand wins open show as well. Kate also won Supreme Showman. Our first and foremost goal is to honor God. Our farm is located 35 miles southwest of Hot Springs, just off Hwy. 70 W. We are located an hour and a half from Texarkana, TX; an hour and a half from Little Rock, AR, two hours from Ft. Smith, AR, and three and a half hours from Memphis, TN. Our son Chris and his wife Donna serve in the United States Army, and are stationed at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. Both have served in Iraq. Chris has just completed the selction phase and was chosen as a Green Beret candidate. We are very proud of them for serving their country and helping to protect our "FREEDOM" !!! We raise Fullblood and Percentage Boers and have a few Purebred Nubians, as well as a commercial goat herd with the goal of wether production and future percentage does. In all our goats we strive to produce quality that is correct in structure and follows the breed standards as closely as possible, as well as does and bucks that are hardy and production oriented. We are proud members of the American Boer Goat Association, of which Mark is a certified judge and the International Boer Goat Association of which Julie is a judge.
